2021: In Review

What a year.

2021 certainly was a hallmark year here at Peace Vans. There were many ups and downs throughout the last 12 months, but we’re here to celebrate all of the insanely cool and exciting things that happened in our Peace Vans Family this year.

Including:

  • Over 900 passengers in 20 rental vans. They traveled throughout greater Cascadia and beyond, experiencing the journey of a lifetime in both Vanagons and Metris Campers. One renter commented, “Our Peace Vans rental was mindblowing, rejuvenating, freeing, and straight up fun as hell. We felt like ‘ol Chumstick became a member of our family, and we had the absolute best time adventuring around the PNW in his big blue arms.”

  • Air-cooled bus, Frida, converted to electric with 15 Tesla batteries. Truly a labor of love by our amazing Vintage team—You can read more about that here!

  • 227,250 miles driven in our rentals vans—over 9 trips around the earth. We think that’s pretty impressive! For a year that was filled with unexpected hiccups, people still found time to get out of town, disconnect and explore the beautiful outdoors.

  • Over 150 Mercedes Metris vans delivered to eager customers ready for their next grand adventure. These vans were converted with care and attention by our amazing team.

  • 5 honeymoons celebrated in rental vans. To say we are honored to be a part of this monumental time in peoples’ lives is an understatement.

  • Many impressive 50+ consecutive night trips in a Mercedes Metris. We went out on a limb when we began our Metris conversion project a few years ago, unsure how people would respond to our modern take on a Vanagon. So our hearts really do feel extra warm when we chat with people like Nancy, who has spent so much time in her beloved camper.

  • 358 Vanagons serviced at our shop. If you’ve ever stopped by the OG Vintage shop, you know our lot is usually full, bumper-to-bumper, with customers Vanagons. From a simple oil change, to a full camper system overhaul, our expert technicians work tirelessly to make sure every road trip flows as seamlessly as possible.

  • Customers from every state in the US. We’re grateful for the many people from far and near who are a part of our family.

1 Amazing Peace Vans Family.

None of the miles roamed, nights spent under the stars, camper vans converted, organizations and nonprofits supported—any of it—would be possible without YOU. Our Peace Vans Family is made up of passionate outdoor lovers, road trip enthusiasts, adventurous spirits, movers and shakers. In short, it’s made up of people with a whole lot of heart. All of you continuously inspire us to keep those wheels spinning.

We like to say we’re in the business of memory-making. In truth, our Peace Vans Family makes lifelong memories for us.

We love to see the giant smiles when you receive the keys to your new camper van. We love to hear the stories when you rent from us and explore the magic of a new place. We love to know that when the vintage VW you’ve treasured for decades gets much-needed upgrades, it brings a peace of mind to your adventures. It fills our hearts to be able to play a small role in your joy and happiness.

Thank you for being a part of our Peace Vans Family. We’re grateful to be on this journey with you today and every day.
